The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and it resembles with the Kedarnath shrine. The temple has a great mythological significance and narrates many stories from mythology. Son Prayag, resting on the confluence of the rivers Basuki and Mandakini, is also a beautiful site to attain Nirvana.
