Biodiversity of this park is highly impressive. Here you can spot the endangered Musk Deer apart from Hangul, Leopard, Brown Bear, Black Bear, and Red Fox. Numerous indigenous and migratory birds can also be spotted here.

Hill station is also known for housing one of the largest 18-hole golf courses in India, Gulmarg Golf Course. Many golfing enthusiasts visit here to enjoy a game of golf. ??The golf course sprawls over 7505 yards and enjoys spectacular surroundings. Also taste the juiciest strawberries by visiting the Strawberry Valley. People visiting here never forget to pack some strawberries to take back home.

Skiing enthusiasts must explore the beautiful Apharwat Peak standing 4200 m above the sea level. The park remains blanketed with heavy snowfall and makes the best place to indulge in skiing. Ferozepur Nallah, a fascinating mountain stream, is another wonder of nature here. The stream flows through lush pine trees, flourishing meadows and soaring snow-capped mountains. The beauty of Seven Springs is also worth appreciating in Gulmarg. From here you can catch glimpses of both the Srinagar and Gulmarg valleys.

Gulmarg houses many religious shrines as well. St. Mary?s Church, flaunting Victorian style of architecture, is an ancient church raised more than 100 years ago. From here you can catch views of lush meadows, lofty alpine trees and soaring mountains. The church has grey stone walls and a vertical green roof. Maharani Temple is another shrine in Gulmarg built in 1915 by Mohini Bai Sisodia. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
